When you request a fuel reimbursement, we want to make sure the process is quick, smooth, and hassle-free. To help with that, here’s a simple guide on what documents we accept - and what won’t be approved - for fuel-related refund requests.
What Counts as a Valid Fuel Receipt
To ensure we can process your reimbursement, your fuel receipt must clearly show:
Fuel station name
Date and time of purchase
Amount paid
Fuel type
Litres purchased
Vehicle location or station location (if indicated)
Clear, readable image (no blurry photos)
We accept:
Physical receipts (photo or scanned copy)
Digital receipts issued by the fuel station
What We Cannot Accept
To maintain accuracy, we aren’t able to approve reimbursement requests if the receipt or document:
Is a credit card transaction screen shot (See sample below)
Is blurry, cropped, or unreadable
Does not show the date/time
Does not show the amount paid
Is edited or handwritten
Shows fuel purchased before or after the booking period
Is not from a fuel station (e.g., personal notes, bank statements, screenshots of transaction history without details)
Why These Requirements Matter
Clear and valid receipts help us:
Confirm the fuel purchased relates to the correct booking
Ensure fair and accurate reimbursements
Type of fuel added to the car
Maintain a consistent experience for both guests and hosts
