What happens if the car requires maintenance or repairs?
It is the vehicle owner's responsibility to ensure that the maintenance is kept up to date prior to the subscription period. In case of unexpected maintenance or general repairs; Drive mate will help assist and coordinate with the vehicle owner to ensure the car can get back onto the road as soon as possible. Drive mate are unable to provide nor guarantee the use of alternative cars or offer loss-of-use compensation whilst the vehicle is in for general maintenance and mechanical repair; these reimbursements are up to the discretion of the vehicle owner.
For vehicles deemed to be in an at-fault accident; the guest will not receive any refund for the balance of the subscription and Drive mate will not be able to provide alternative vehicles or reimburse for the time whilst car is in the workshop for smash repairs.
