Who This Is For

All Drive mate Hosts who receive earnings from completed trips, reimbursements, bonuses, and claims.

What’s Changing

Starting January 2025, Drive mate will move to monthly payouts for all eligible Host earnings. This replaces ad hoc or per-trip payouts.

First Monthly Payout:
January 2025 (covering earnings from December 2024)

Monthly Payout Schedule:
No later than the 9th business day of each month

What’s Included in Your Monthly Statement

Each month, you’ll receive a detailed, tax-compliant earnings statement. This will include:

  • Completed Trips: Dates, Guest names, and trip totals

  • Distance Charges: Earnings from per-kilometre rates

  • Fuel Reimbursements: Amounts reimbursed to you if applicable

  • Referral Bonuses: Any successful referral earnings

  • Damage Claims: Approved payouts from resolved damage cases

  • Other Earnings: Fees, incentives, or other applicable income

How to Access Your Statement

You can view your monthly earnings statement in two places:

  • In the Drive mate app under the “Insights” or “Earnings” tab

  • Sent to your registered email address as a PDF

Each statement can be used for:

  • Personal income tracking

  • Tax reporting and accounting

  • Verifying past trip or reimbursement activity

Why Monthly Payouts?

This change improves the experience for Hosts by providing:

  • Clarity: All earnings in one place

  • Consistency: Predictable, on-time payments

  • Simplicity: Less frequent tracking and follow-ups

  • Tax Readiness: Easier documentation for accounting

Important Dates

By the 9th business day of each month

(e.g., February payout = earnings from January)
