Automated Toll reimbursement for Hosts

We’ve introduced a feature that lets you upload toll statements to get reimbursed. Your toll payouts will be included in your monthly earnings.

Accessing the Feature


This feature is available under Insights tab - Earnings section. You can press Toll statements button as highlighted in the image below.

Map a Toll Tag or Registration Number


Link a toll tag or registration number to each of your live listings using the "Map Toll Tag" option under the (+) sign.

On this screen, you'll see all your live listings. Before uploading a toll statement, you must map each listing to a toll tag or registration number.

  • Listings that are unmapped or incomplete appear in red and stay at the top.

  • You cannot upload toll statements until all listings are mapped.

Selecting a Tag Type

Choose the appropriate option based on how your tolls are recorded:

  • Registration Number – Select this if toll entries show your car’s registration number.

  • Tag Number – Choose this if tolls are recorded using a toll tag number. You'll need to enter the correct tag number.

Upload your Toll Statement

  • You need to upload toll statements via "Add toll statements" option under the (+) sign.

  • The toll statement has to be in a PDF format from your toll provider. No other formats are supported.

Processing & Validation


Once you upload a toll statement, our system takes about one hour to process it. You'll receive a notification once processing is complete.

  • The system automatically validates tolls incurred during Drive mate trips.

  • Any tolls outside of a Drive mate trip will not be reimbursed.

  • You can track the status of each toll directly in the app.

  • Approved toll payouts will be included in your next monthly payout.

Disputing Toll entries


If you believe a toll charge was incorrectly identified with a Drive mate trip, you can dispute it.

  • Use the "Dispute a Toll Charge" option under the (+) sign.

  • Select any past toll entries you want to dispute, and our team will review them.

  • If the dispute is valid, we’ll update the status, and the toll will be included in the next payout.

  • Use the "Dispute a Toll Charge" option under the (+) sign.

  • Select any past toll entries you want to dispute, and our team will review them.

  • If the dispute is valid, we’ll update the status, and the toll will be included in the next payout.
