As a host on our car-sharing platform, you play a crucial role in providing a seamless experience for your guests. One important aspect of this experience is accommodating trip modifications and extensions when necessary. This guide will help you understand how trip modification and extension work from a host's perspective.
➤ Trip Modification
Guests can change their trip details (pickup and drop-off date/time) before they pick up the car.
Guests can submit requests up to 5 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
➤ Trip Extension
If a guest wants to extend their trip after the car is picked up, this is a trip extension.
Guests can only change the drop-off time and can submit requests up to 6 hours after the planned drop-off time.

Duration Rules: Guests can only submit trip modification requests if the modified duration is equal to or greater than the original trip duration. They cannot reduce the trip duration.
Host Approval Needed: All modifications and extensions require your approval. They aren't automatic, even for Instant Booking listings.
Calendar Conflicts: If your car is already booked, guests can’t send modification/extension requests for overlapping times.
