What are the various subscription options for hosts?

At Drive mate, we strive to make it easy, safe and convenient for hosts to list their car. The following host plans will work seamlessly where you have the option of bringing your own devices (BYOD - ex UCS) or securing new devices from Drive mate.

• Just mates 

  • Your car must have your own working GPS installed otherwise theft cannot be covered - Airtags or similar are not secure enough

  • Excess mileage reporting by hosts based on odometer photos

  • Key handover

  • Free

• Good mates 

  • Primary GPS installed via OBD (you can BYO or buy it from Drive mate)

  • Key handover 

  • Automated mileage calculations 

  • $10/month

• Best mates 

  • Keyless access tech* (you can BYO Otoplug or take a new one from Drive mate)

  • Remote handover 

  • Automated mileage calculations

  • $30/month 

*Drive mate Go 3.0 keyless tech is going into field trials early Oct'24 and will be available soon In the meanwhile hosts can bring their current otoplugs or get new ones from Drive mate.

A one time transfer fee of $2 per BYOD device will apply 

Add-ons available

• BYO lockbox - $10/month 

• BYO secondary GPS for enhanced security - $5/month

  • This will be mandatory in certain postcodes

  • We can also provide a secondary GPS for just the $5/month

• Fleet insurance (for in-between bookings)- Starting $130/month. Launch on 1st Oct'24. Not available for cars on lockboxes.
