To maintain a smooth and secure experience on the Drive mate platform, both Hosts and Guests have responsibilities to ensure a seamless car-sharing process. Below is a breakdown of these responsibilities:

Host Responsibilities

1. Keep Your Vehicle in Top Condition

  • Ensure your vehicle meets the Drive mate Vehicle Maintenance Guidelines.

  • Perform regular inspections and maintain the vehicle’s condition for safe use.

2. Report Incidents Timely

Physical Key Handover: Report any incidents within 24 hours of vehicle return.

Keyless Access Vehicles: Report incidents within 14 days after the trip ends.

3. Verify Driver During Key Handover

For Physical Key Handover: Check the Guest’s driving license and ID to ensure they match the booking details.

For Keyless Access: Guests complete the verification via the Drive mate app.

4. Follow Pick-Up and Drop-Off Procedures

Follow the Drive mate handover process to ensure a smooth transition of the vehicle.

Guest Responsibilities

1. Carry Your Driving License and ID

Always bring a valid government-issued ID and your driving license to confirm your booking.

2. Complete Re-Identification for Keyless Access

  • During Pick-Up: Take a selfie with your driving license through the Drive mate app.

  • Ensure the re-identification is completed before you drive off.

3. Report Issues Promptly

Report any issues within 24 hours of your trip’s conclusion using the Drive mate app.

4. Take Pre- and Post-Trip Photos

Take clear, time-stamped photos of the vehicle before and after your trip for documentation.
