Follow these simple instructions to ensure a smooth and insured trip.
1. Otoplug (Keyless Access Vehicles)
Open the Drive mate app
You’ll receive the car’s exact location 1 hour before your trip begins.
Start the Pick-up Process
Opens 15 minutes before your trip. Go to your Trip Page → View Trip Details
Must be within 250m of the car to begin. Tap Start Pick-up when nearby.
Verify Your Identity
Take a selfie and tap Complete.
Inspect the Exterior
Take at least 8 photos. Capture any visible damage and add remarks if needed.
Unlock the Car
The vehicle will unlock automatically. If it doesn’t, tap Car Not Unlocked for retry/help.
Get the Keys -
Usually in the glovebox or driver’s side door.
Record Fuel and Odometer
Photo + slider for fuel level
Photo + entry for odometer reading
Rate Cleanliness
Scale of 1–5 + reason. Interior photo optional.
Tap Complete Pick-up

2. Lockbox enabled Vehicles
Open the Drive mate app
Car’s exact location is shared 1 hour before your trip.
Start the Pick-up Process

Access the Keys via Lockbox
Lockbox code will appear in-app after inspection
Located on driver’s side window
Press ENT → [code] → ENT to open
Detach the lockbox and store it securely inside the car
Record Fuel and Odometer

3. Physical Key Handover Vehicles
Coordinate with the Host
Arrange a time to meet at the pickup location. They’ll hand you the keys in person.
