Terms and conditions of the Referral Program
Drive mate's referral program - known as "Earn & save even more" program (“The Program”) allows Members to earn promotional credits (“Travel Credits”) toward future trips by referring friends to become new users on Drive mate.
To participate, Members must agree to these terms, which become part of the Drive mate Terms of service.
How to Earn Referral Travel Credits
Members can earn Travel Credits if: (i) a referred friend clicks on their referral link to create a valid Drive mate account that complies with our Terms of Service and (ii) the referred friend completes a Qualifying Trip (as defined below).
The referring Member will be credited with the specified Travel Credit amount(s) of $50 after the completion of the referred friend’s Qualifying Trip.
Qualifying Trip
A Qualifying Trip must be booked by the referred friend via the Drive mate platform and needs to be completed in full for the referrer to earn credits for the trip. A trip will not be considered a Qualifying trip, and therefore no Travel Credits will be earned, if the trip is cancelled at any time.
Redeeming Travel Credits
Travel Credits may only be redeemed via the Drive mate Platform and in line with our credits redemption policy. More on that can be found in this article
In short,
Guests can redeem their travel credits, up to $20 per booking against car rentals.
Travel Credits may not be earned by creating multiple Drive mate Accounts. Travel Credits accrued in separate Drive mate accounts may not be combined into one Drive mate account.
If for any reason you believe that there is a discrepancy regarding your balance of Travel Credits, please contact us. Drive mate may require you to submit additional information in order to make a determination regarding your balance. All decisions regarding your balance will be final and at Drive mate's sole discretion.
Referred Friends
Referred friends who have signed up using a valid referral link will also receive travel credits of $25 upon successful signup. Just like existing guests, they can redeem their travel credits, up to $20 per booking against car rentals.
Credits expire one year from when you sign up for an Drive mate account. Drive mate reserves the right to any remedy, including cancellation of your account or reservations, if fraud, tampering, violations of these terms or Drive mate's Terms of Service or Payments Terms of Service, or technical errors are suspected. Void where prohibited. If your reservation later qualifies for a refund, the maximum refund you may receive is the amount you actually paid.
Multiple Referrals
A referred friend may only use one referral link. If a referred friend receives referral links from multiple Members, only the Member associated with the referral link actually used by the referred friend will receive Travel Credit.
The Program may not be combined with other Drive mate referral programs or incentives.
Severability
If any provision in these terms are held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void or unenforceable) will be struck and not affect the validity of and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Termination and Changes
Drive mate may suspend or terminate the Program or a user’s ability to participate in it at any time for any reason.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts or remove Travel Credits if we notice any activity that we believe is abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of the Drive mate Terms of Service or Payments Terms of Service. We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify referrals in our sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate.
The scope, variety, and type of services and products that you may obtain by redeeming Travel Credits can change at any time.
Updates to the Terms
We can update these terms at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the Drivelah.com website, applications, or services, which are effective upon posting. Continued participation in the Program after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification.
